Having the opportunity to work with Dana Graham was an experience I'll never forget. She holds a dedication and passion towards directing that kept myself and cast members invested in and outside the rehearsal room. Her advocation for new works and voices in the theatre was something I admired the most throughout our time together.

Eunice Akinola

Actress

Dana and I collaborated in areas of artistic programming, event coordination, and new play development when she was the Arts Administration Fellow at Kitchen Theatre Company. That season, Dana enthusiastically took on projects like conceiving and facilitating an open-mic poetry slam to promote an upcoming play, and producing and directing an interdiscplinary ten-minute play festival. While caring for the artistic vision and the logistical execution of a project, Dana brings her unique perspective to every element of the process.

Emily Jackson

Artistic Director, Sanguine Theatre Company

Dana is a fierce combination of passion, collaboration and clarity. When she directed me in NOBLE OF MUNDAY at the Kitchen Theatre, she had a very clear idea of what she wanted but was open to hearing what felt most organic for her actors as well. A rarity among young Black directors.
